Hi, I’m Hannah Wain.
I have always loved swimming! I became a poolside helper aged 12, working closely with the head coach of the Liverpool club with which I trained and competed. I achieved my Level 1 teaching qualification when I was 17 and have since been working for several swim schools. This has allowed me to build my knowledge and experience to move on and complete my Level 2 qualification.
Although swimming is my main sport, I have always tried out different things such as Triathlons, Tetrathlons and Modern Pentathlon (running, swimming, shooting, fencing and horse riding). From September 2006 – June 2013 I was a Great British athlete on the World Class Talent Programme competing in Modern Pentathlon, both nationally and internationally. This was an incredibly enjoyable time in my life and I learnt so many lessons that still help me today.
Working as both a Primary School PE Teacher and an Angelfish Swimming Instructor I am passionate about developing children’s ability and love for sport!
